Vidette Vanderweide is an Author, International Speaker, and Host in the area of lifestyle innovation. She is the author of the book, S.O.U.L. Mama – An Experience of Awakening, Creating a New Paradigm, and Living from the Soul, and a gifted thought leader teaching her clients the practical tools and principles to effectively create an “epic revolution” in their life.
Vidette brings mind, body and soul experiences to her audiences with her online TV Channel, Reinvention Channel; highlighting the women and destinations around the world making their own iconic mark in the world and bringing mind, body and soul experiences to women.
As a start-up business advisor, she also delivers mentoring programs and keynotes teaching the principles to successfully create a lifestyle business of one’s dreams in all aspects of life. Ranked in the Top 50 “Mom Run Businesses in the U.S.” in less than two years, Vidette has the knowledge and power to teach women how to create powerful results quickly in transforming their lives.

early years
Growing up in Pottstown, PA, Vidette was always antsy to see more, do more and be more. After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Textiles, Clothing and Fashion Merchanding, Vidette spent the next few years finding her way. She lived in five major cities in the U.S., had many jobs, all of which were not fulfilling her. After a long journey, Vidette ditched corporate America for her own inspired career as an author, speaker and mentor and she moved to the place she always had a desire to live in, sunny Southern California. She lives there with the hubs, Steve, her two boys, Rijken and Dutch and their Jack Russell Terrier, Lucy. She loves to surf, paddleboard, and be beach bum and is a ferocious reader of anything that makes her smarter, happier, and a little more enlightened!
reinvention channel
After years of building her business independently, Vidette decided to open up creative control and invited her husband, Steve to tap into his talents as a film maker and editor. After a night of visioning together (and yes, wine and bourbon were involved), the Reinvention Channel was born.
Combining their talents, Vidette and Steve created the TV channel to spotlight the very women creating great change in the world today.
With Vidette hosting, interviewing today’s most iconic women and experiencing the destinations worldwide, Steve brings his love of film and editing to the table to create webisodes that communicate these iconic messages and experiences. Each webisode serves as more exposure and communication of the very people and places that are innovating lifestyles and reinventing women worldwide.

After her journey through some dark times, Vidette emerged with a whole new sense of what life really was. She learned lessons along the way that transformed and reinvented her life. After much discussion with Steve, it was decided that our most shameful time in our lives happened to us for the distinct purpose of helping others. They decided to share their story of breaking down in order to breakthrough and S.O.U.L. Mama – Seeing Only an Unlimited Life – An Experience of Awakening, Creating a New Paradigm and Living from the Soul was written. Writing S.O.U.L. Mama was one of the most joyous experiences in Vidette’s life, which led her to shut down her marketing consulting business altogether and re-launch as VidetteVanderweide.com, the go-to vehicle for women to reinvent their lives.

Based on her own personal reinvention, Vidette distilled down the process she took to 
reinvent her life from “…ugh…I can’t believe this is my life” to “I love my life!”
She created Project Soul Mama, which is a worldwide initiative to cultivate 1,000 Soul Mamas in 2013.
Vidette has developed programs, retreats and workshops that offer an array of experiences for women to understand the reinvention process, depending on their level of commitment to create change in their lives.
